Many beginners encounter common problems: cream is not fluffy enough, too runny, or tastes weird. In fact, perfect whipped cream only depends on correct operation and high-quality food grade cream chargers.
This complete tutorial teaches you the standard usage for home and small cafe scenarios.
Step 1: Prepare Cold Ingredients & Tools
Chilled heavy cream (35% fat content is the best) + clean cream dispenser + food grade cream charger cylinder. Cold temperature is the key to fluffy cream.
Step 2: Load Cream Properly
Do not overfill the dispenser (keep 20% empty space). Too much cream will cause insufficient aeration and poor texture.
Step 3: Install Cream Charger
Connect the cream dispenser and cream charger cylinder by pressure reducing valve, release cream charger gas, and make sure the seal is tight to avoid air leakage.
Step 4: Shake Gently & Evenly
Shake the dispenser 6-10 times up and down gently. Excessive shaking will cause the cream to become grainy; insufficient shaking will make it runny.
Step 5: Dispense & Enjoy
Tilt the dispenser slightly and squeeze evenly to get stable, fluffy whipped cream.
Common Mistakes to Avoid:
1. Using warm cream (leads to non-fluffy texture)
2. Using non-food-grade chargers (causes odor and unsafe taste)
3. Over-shaking or under-shaking
Master these simple steps, and you can make professional-level whipped cream every time at home.
